Our physical offices are closed but the work continues amid COVID-19

The safety and well-being of our students, educators, staff, and volunteers is our top priority, and while the Engaging Creative Minds (ECM) staff is currently working remotely, we remain accessible via email, phone, and remote meeting technologies to minimize disruptions and remain focused on our mission.

In addition, we are working closely with each of the school districts and mayor’s offices to determine the best plan moving forward. We will update you on any changes as soon as decisions are made and appreciate your patience as we navigate this new territory.

We are currently working on some unique ways to Power-On Your Imagination at home and will be in touch soon with more details. In the meantime, here are a couple of resources to get you started.

Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems! (free video series) | Join the John F. Kennedy Center Education Artist-in-Residence at home as Mo Willems invites YOU into his studio every weekday at 1 PM EST to draw, doodle, and explore new ways of writing. #MoLunchDoodles

Hosts Guy Raz and Mindy Thomas will take you on a journey away from your screens, inside your brain, out into space, and deep into the coolest new stories in science, technology, and innovation with NPR’s WOW in the World podcast.

South Carolina Arts Commission has a COVID-19 resources page featuring dedicated lists of resources for Artists and Arts Educators.

Please share other resources you find with us, and should you need assistance with understanding something that has been assigned to your child, or if you need more resources, give us a shout. We work with K-8 grade students and we are happy to answer any questions.

We will get through this TOGETHER! #BetterTogether
