Lowcounty Food Bank – Fully Operational

The LCFB is fully operational and we are working closely with our partner agencies to determine the safest methods to serve our most vulnerable friends and neighbors — senior citizens and children (and their families) who may be losing access to prepared meals and stocked food. We also know businesses and their employees will be impacted by a decline in commerce and lost wages. We are continuing preparations to ensure we can serve our neighbors who may not usually come to us for assistance.

We are in constant contact with the public school officials in our service area throughout coastal South Carolina as they continue to work on plans to keep children fed safely and efficiently. We are developing methods to support and collaborate with them. This is a fluid process and will evolve over the next several days.
