As the seasons change and our residents get back to school, we reflected on just how much we have dealt with over the past 6 months. The CYDC team used a variety of strategies to cope with the disruptions and challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic. One thing that has helped many of our residents and staff is journaling! Studies have shown that journaling can help us safely express thoughts, fears and feelings, reduce stress, express creativity and even remind us what we’re grateful for even during the most challenging times!
