Closed to Visitors, Still Caring for Kids

At this time CYDC is restricting all non-essential visitors for the safety of our residents and staff. CYDC is closely monitoring and following all recommended procedures made by the CDC. Even as the coronavirus has changed our daily lives, CYDC’s team of caseworkers and staff continue to show up and provide critical programs and services in our communities.

Nikki, CYDC’s Director of Volunteer and Residential Enrichment, has gone above and beyond these past few weeks. She has set up schedules, tutoring, and lead weekly “Fun Fridays” for the youth to continue engaging, getting schoolwork done and staying active. The kids in our CES and Ledford cottages stayed busy this past weekend by volunteering to decorate cards for some local nursing home residents.
